Chairman’s Message: April 2019

I am sincerely humbled, gracious and excited to be your new Chairman of the Board and President of the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (MDHCC).

As your new Chairman and with the help of our new Board of Directors, we intend to focus on keeping our members beyond satisfied and most importantly, introducing new programs that can benefit our members, following our mission in promoting the establishment, growth, prosperity and retention of Hispanic Businesses, and those entities, and persons that support them in the State of Maryland.

Furthermore, we will be creating a MD Hispanic Chamber Foundation (MDHCF) that will be providing Scholarships to Hispanic Students throughout the State of Maryland. More information will be available once this program is established.

The MDHCC has joined the Maryland Chamber Federation: this partnership will provide extensive resources statewide to improve our members’ businesses. More information will be available soon.

As many of you know, the MDHCC has moved to Baltimore. We are excited to have our new Headquarters in the center of Mount Vernon, Baltimore. We are located at the Engineers Club/The Garrett/Jacobs Mansion. One benefit to our members is that they can join the Engineers Club at a discounted rate. More information will be available with the New Membership Packages.

As we continue in early 2019 we at the MDHCC are excited about our internal restructuring, new partnerships and leadership and passion that will be provided by our new Board of Directors. For us to continue to grow it is imperative to continue to receive YOUR support and YOUR commitment to our mission. If you are interested in serving, please let us know!!! We can always use the help of a great hand.

Thank you for being a part of our MDHCC family and we look forward to working with each of you!
