Silvia is currently serving as Director of Planning and the Environment at CV, Inc. a medium size civil engineering company with an interdisciplinary staff located in Gaithersburg, Maryland doing business, primarily, around the DMV. Silvia received a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning and worked in the field of Planning for many years becoming a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. She also worked several years in the contracting and procurement field at the District of Columbia Government.

Silvia has a passion for service, she is very active with the community service organization Altrusa International, Inc. She became the organization’s International President in 2015 and presided over the Convention celebrating Altrusa’s Centennial year in Nashville, TN, in July 2017. She is currently membership chair of her local club Altrusa International of Montgomery County, Maryland, Inc., and also serves as president of the Club’s Foundation.
Silvia was born in Argentina moved with her parents to Florida at age 12. Silvia completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland, and her Master’s degree at the Catholic University of America. She is married to her husband of 43 years, has three children and three grandchildren, Silvia loves traveling, and enjoys cooking and entertaining at home.
