Chairman of the Board & President

To Our Sponsors and Members,

Thank you for considering becoming part of the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (MDHCC) either as a sponsor or as a member. On behalf of our Board of Directors, I would like to welcome you and your company. It is my distinct honor to lead the MDHCC as its President/CEO & Chairman of the Board. I am sincerely humbled, appreciative, and excited about MDHCC’s vision, mission, and purpose, all of which are geared towards improving the lives of all Marylanders. Under my leadership, MDHCC’s Board of Directors intends to deliver on MDHCC’s strategic plan, goals, and objectives. We focus on keeping our members and sponsors working together towards improving Maryland’s economy as prosperous, responsible citizens of our beloved State of Maryland.

We appreciate our sponsors and members, and we work hard towards delivering a return on their investment, improving their name recognition, enlarging their customer base, encouraging brand loyalty, and improving their corporate visibility. We are willing to listen to our sponsors’ and our members’ goals and objectives, needs and priorities, thus tailoring our products and services to better fit their own vision, mission, and purpose.

MDHCC’s goal is to assist sponsors and members to develop strong relationships as potential customers and vendors. Our common ties provide insights into markets, purchasing power, and spending habits. Our networking events can help craft everyone’s ideal customer profile, lead generation, and sales opportunities. Our events help bridge the gap between our sponsors and our members, develop warmer prospects, and highlight specific products and services. We constantly revise and improve the content of our digital media, website, and social media sites, thus increasing traffic, building brands, providing opportunities, and expanding businesses.
MDHCC offers annual, quarterly, and monthly events to provide promotional opportunities. These events include our Annual Gala Awards that highlights our up-and-coming members as well as our most generous sponsors; our Golf Outing that provides funding for academic and vocational scholarships for Hispanic/Latino students; our Legislative Reception introduces our membership to Maryland’s elected officials and candidates; our Quarterly Economic Breakfast keeps everyone informed on economic matters, our Maryland Hispanic Business Conference in partnership with other Hispanic Chambers in the DMV, our annual Energy Summit, our Ifrastructure/Transportation Summit, and our Quarterly Hispanic Business Showcase introduces Hispanic/Latino businesses, their expertise, products, and services to everyone. MDHCC also conducts monthly entrepreneurship BAM training programs (Business Advocacy & Mentorship)  to help our members grow and improve their businesses, products, and services. Many of our sponsors and members participate in these programs as speakers and trainers.

We host many of our events at our headquarters at The Engineers Club of Baltimore (ESB), the Garrett-Jacobs Mansion, in Mount Vernon, Baltimore, Maryland. We look forward to seeing you there. It is imperative to continue receiving YOUR support and YOUR commitment to our mission. Everyone is needed, invited, and welcomed! ¡Bienvenidos a nuestra familia!
