Maria Pilar Rodroguez is a prominent Latina entrepreneur and the President of MPR Business Solutions, a thriving professional consulting firm based in Montgomery County, Maryland. With a passion for empowering the Latino community and supporting underserved entrepreneurs and small business owners, María Pílar has made significant contributions to her field. 

Her professional journey began in New York City, where she worked as a Paralegal, Administrative Professional, and Spanish interpreter/translator. María Pilar later settled in Maryland and established herself as a leader in the community. She holds a degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York, NY, and certification from the Paralegal Institute in New York, NY. Her expertise as a 
Spanish interpreter and translator has been recognized by various court systems, governmental institutions, and the private sector.
 
María Pílar's dedication to community service is evident through her involvement in various organizations. In 2022, she was appointed by the Maryland Governor to serve on the Board of Trustees for the Maryland Healthcare Exchange Board. She was also recognized as one of Maryland's Top 100 Women by the Daily Record of Baltimore in 2012. María Pílar has received public recognition from local organizations and non-profit organizations for her outstanding work in the community. 

In 2009, María Pílar founded MPR Business Solutions, which focuses on consulting for small businesses, particularly in grassroots and underserved communities. The firm specializes in assisting women-owned businesses and aims to reduce economically disadvantaged disparities within these communities. MPR Business Solutions offers a wide range of services, including administrative support, developmental processes, minority certifications, all MVA Tags & Title Services, and marketing knowledge. By acting as a conduit between government licensing and marketing for startups and existing businesses, MPR Business Solutions plays a vital role in supporting the Latino business community. 

María Pílar is the Executive Director of the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Her boundless energy and professional credentials have made her well-known in her field. As the executive director of the Maryland Hispanic Business Conference (MDHBC), she organizes and delivers the premier Hispanic business event in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region. The conference provides valuable tools, strategies, and resources to support Hispanic businesses and contribute to Maryland's economic fabric.
