Patricia Mir is a dynamic bilingual professional with over two decades of experience in small businesses and non-profit organizations, showcasing expertise in IT professional services, business development, office management, human resources, events coordination, community outreach, and project management.
Currently serving as the Board Member and Grants Committee Chair at the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (MDHCC), Patricia spearheads advocacy for Hispanic business community development. Since May 2023, she implemented a strategic Grants Committee, revolutionizing the organization's funding approach. Patricia actively supported the coordination efforts for the 2023 Annual Gala and represents MDHCC at community events.
In her role as Director of Business Development at EDSOL Communications LLC since March 2018, Patricia identifies strategic opportunities, cultivates partnerships, and leads the production of business plans and technical proposals. Her contributions played a key role in successfully implementing Edsol’s growth strategy, securing strategic contracts and numerous certifications at the Federal and State levels. Patricia's versatility shines as she oversees IT projects, manages client relationships, and supervises teams.
Patricia's journey includes roles as Executive Assistant to the Chairman/CEO at Viper Security (April 2017 to March 2018) and Executive Assistant to the CEO at Metalogix Software (June 2013 to September 2016). Excelling in managing competing priorities, active calendars, coordinating travel, and supporting upper management, she showcased efficiency and reliability.
As the Office Manager at CVPath Institute, Inc. from October 2016 to April 2017, Patricia maintained office operations, implemented policies, and led the new employee onboarding process. Her multifaceted approach ensured office efficiency and streamlined systems.
Earlier in her career, Patricia served as PR and Media Specialist at Links Media, where she managed training programs, communication strategies, and business proposals. At Altronics Communications, Inc., she also directed marketing efforts and executed public relations campaigns.
Patricia's commitment to community development extends to her role at the Mid-Atlantic Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (2006-2008), where she served as Office Manager/Membership Relations Assistant. Managing office activities and providing logistic coordination for over 50 events annually, Patricia demonstrated dedication.
A graduate in Journalism and Public Relations from the National University of Cordoba, Argentina, Patricia actively pursues professional development. Fluent in English and Spanish, her bilingual capabilities enhance her effectiveness in global business.
Recognized for her contributions, Patricia received the Business Leader of the Year award at the 18th Maryland Hispanic Business Conference in October 2023.
Outside her professional endeavors, Patricia volunteers in local organizations, supporting the low-income, homeless, and at-risk communities. She enjoys family time, hiking, and is an avid ballroom dancer.
