Baltimore Dance Festival

The Baltimore Dance Festival (BDF), organized by Tierra y Tambor LLC, will take place June 4‑8, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor. The festival features 52 workshops, 40+ performances, live music, and a vendor marketplace. Led by two minority women, including a disabled USMC veteran, BDF celebrates the universal language of dance, fosters community connections, empowers local talent, and drives tourism and economic growth.

BDF will be launching BDF Junior Edition, a youth-focused program for dancers under 18. Participants will have exclusive access to workshops, social dancing sessions to practice their skills, and curated excursions to Baltimore destinations such as the Science Museum and Aquarium. Requested funds via all sources of grants or sponsorships will be used to cover instructors, DJs, and tickets for excursions to underprivileged families, as well as marketing brochures to educate participants about available opportunities. Additional funding will support competition awards, providing youth winners with access to local arts programs in Baltimore or their home cities, fostering ongoing skill development and engagement in the arts.
